Importing active directory to symantec endpoint protection manager

IMPORTING AD ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT AND USERS TO SEPM

Today i am going to show how to import active directory organizatinal unit and users to symantec endpoint protection manager. Read carefully and Enjoy...
NB: Symantec Does not make any change to your active directory it only mirrors it in SEPM, If you make any changes in Symantec Endpoint protection manager it will  not be reflected in AD, However if you make any changes in AD will be reflected in SEPM.

Login to the symantec manager... looks like a beauty ah...



Click on Admin tab.. :)


Click on servers and Right click on your server and click on Edit properties.. ;)


That looks good...


Click on Directory servers on top and click on add....


Fill in the details and click on ok and then ok...


Then click on clients tab and right click on a group and click import organizational unit.


Select your domain and see it populate and click on ok


Now see your ou and computers in the list then click on import active directory users from the lower in middle pane.


ok fill in the details and then click on list users and select the users needed and add them to the group


There we go we have the OU and USERS.... piece of cake right ;)
